Ashley began her dance training at Tracee's Dancin Starz in Naples, Florida, and her love for dance came very quickly.  Ashley was trained in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, and lyrical.  Dancing competitively and attending workshops gave her the drive to continue dancing and teaching.  She competed throughout Florida, performed at Disney, and taught at the studio until graduation.  Ashley attended Florida Atlantic University and danced on the competitive dance team.  While at Florida Atlantic University she studied modern dance and dance history.  Ashley returned to Naples in 2009 and realized her true passion was teaching children the art of dance.
