Michelle began dancing at an early age at Moore School of Dance in Ankeny, Iowa.  She studied and competed with all styles of dance and tumbling.  Michelle won numerous competitions at both the State and National levels and holds several titles as a soloist, including "Miss Dance of Iowa".  Her love of dance led her to study at such places as Steps on Broadway, Broadway Dance Center, Alvin Ailey in New York City, and Giordano Dance in Chicago.  Michelle attended Northwest Missouri State University where she was the captain and choreographer for her nationally ranked dance team.  Michelle began teaching dance at the age of 16, leading her to teach and choreograph for the dance department at NWMSU.  She now choreographs for colleges and studios around the country as well as coaches Varsity Cheerleading for the Community School of Naples.  Michelle and her husband Matt have two very active little boys, Drake and Trey.
